AeroMarine Products' half gallon of  liquid latex rubber is excellent for making molds for concrete and plaster.
We believe that this is the best mold making latex on the market. This latex is ideal for making molds for pouring plaster items, as well as for pouring cement or concrete lawn or garden ornaments.  It goes on thick, meaning that you can use fewer coats and make a mold much more quickly.  AeroMarine Products latex mold making rubber is
extremely tough, very flexible
, and is resistant to tearing. It is brushed directly onto the pattern or original part, allowed to dry, and then reapplied.  Multiple layers are necessary for a strong sturdy mold.  This process is continued until the latex mold has reached the desired 1/4" thickness. When dried, this product resembles a rubber band in color. One of the ways it can be removed from the original is by rolling it up like a sock.
Our latex mold making rubber can be used for resin casting but it is not recommended.  AeroMarine Products' Silicone RTV Rubber is much better because it lasts longer when casting resins are used.

his latex cures via the evaporation of water and it contains a small amount of ammonia as a preservative and to prevent freezing during shipment.*
