【LOW TEMPERATURE PROTECTION FOR LI BATTERY】- HQST 60 Amp MPPT negative grounded controller offers overcharging/over-discharging/overload/overheat/short circuit/reverse protection and Lithium battery low-temperature protection. The maximum degree avoids the damage due to system fault or installation error. The BMS of low temp protection for Li battery automatically identifies low temperature, stops charging Li battery, and protects its life. This function can be switched on and off manually.
【PARALELL CHARGE FUNCTION】- 2 HQST MPPT controllers of the same series(M2420N/M2440N/M4860N) can work together to charge the same battery with the parallel charge cable (not included), to meet high power charging requirements and 2 controllers should set the same battery pack voltage. Compatible with Flooded, AGM, Gel, and Lithium batteries. User mode allows the buyer to set their charging parameters. 3-Stage Charging: boost, float, and equalization.
[HIGHER HEAT DISSIPATION EFFICIENCY & FULL-LOAD WORKING] Die-cast aluminum heat sink makes the heat dissipation efficiency higher, which can minimize the power loss from heat. Filling inside the controller with gel is for better PCBA cooling conduction and prevents water and other damages, extending the controller service life. With the premium IC and better PCBA, this controller can work under full load even at high temperature environment.

Wiring Two MPPT Controllers of the Same Series in Parallel
Two units of the same series(M2420N/M2440N/M4860N) could work together to charge the same battery bank through the parallel charge cable(parallel cables are NOT included). You can combine 20A+40A, 20A+60A, 40A+60A, 20A+20A, 40A+40A, 60A+60A.
Higher Heat Dissipation Efficiency and Charging Power
The 60A MPPT solar controller filled with gel inside is more efficient to dissipate heat. Compared with conventional MPPT controllers, the HQST controllers can increase the charging capacity by at least 8% at high temperature.
After testing, under the same full load, the charging power of conventional 60A MPPT controllers decreased by 60% after 20 minutes, and the charging power of the HQST 60A MPPT controller only decreased by 8% after 90 minutes of operation.

3-Stage Charging
48V solar charge controller features 3-stage charging: equalize charging, boost charging, and float charging.
Multiple Protection Functions
Lithium batteries are charged at low temperature (below 0℃) or discharged at ultra-low temperature (below -15℃) will reduce the life cycle of the battery. Low temperature protection for Li battery can automatically recognize the low temperature to stop charging the battery, and protect the battery life.
