The lights can be adjusted up or down any directions and the beam can even be made wide or narrow. You can see in the pictures that they really light up a tree, but don't blind you on a path. Our light systems are patented and brilliantly engineered by our US designers.

Are these solar?
A
No the power box converter will plug into any standard outlet and reduce the electrical use from 110 to just 12v, saving electricity and money.

Assembly required?
A
Yes, you will be able to decide where you want to place them and then you'll connect the wire using the super easy wire connector inside each light base. This gives you flexibility to put them where you want.

Do I need to know anything about electricity to do this DIY landscape lighting kit?
A
No, not really. Instructions are included, and there is no electricity to worry about until you plug it in, and then it's only 12 volts - less than Christmas lights.

Do I need any tools?
A
Yes, a screwdriver and any type of wire stripper, to expose ¼ inch of the wire (pull of the plastic coating) to insert it into the connector. Metal makes the “connection”, plastic does not.

How do they stay in place?
A
The flat base gives great stability, combined with a solid metal (not plastic) 8" ground spike.

Can I mount these on a post?
A
Yes, super easy! You can screw the metal base to anything (there’s a hole in the center, and then just put the light fixture back onto the base wherever it’s now mounted.

Can I add more lights to the kit?
A
No, the kit is designed to work perfectly with the 4 lights included. If you would like to add path lights or a kit for the front yard, it's expected that you can just purchase a separate kit for each space. If you buy 2 Naxos kits you get 10% off and you could mix and match the two kits (2 spots + 2 pathlights in the front and back, but we recommend no more than 6 lights on one transformer -the last light might dim is all that would happen, but we want happy customers)

Are they adjustable?

Yes. The head can go up or down, you can face them in any direction, and the shroud can be unscrewed with a hex wrench (included in each kit) to push it up to make more light, or push it down the shaft to narrow the light and focus the beam.

Yes! Naxos lights are made from recycled metal, they don't use plastic, they are made to last -keeping trash lights out of the landfills of the world. They save energy usage by 100's of watts and reduce light pollution with a low watt focused beam.

Naxos is an American company. We also have our lights manufactured in a family owned non-ferrous foundry in Colombia. Our engineers have decades of resort lighting experience and our Colombian foundry uses old world techniques to sand cast molten metal -It's really something to see.
