The Plug Guard prevents the disconnection of two electrical cords. It comes in two sections, a male and a female, each self-hinged, clam shell style with interlocking rings. The Plug Guard is lightweight, easy to operate, and strong. It can be used in any setting to prevent the disconnection of cables or to protect the connection from the elements.
After the cords are connected, the male half is snapped shut around them and the female half is closed around the balance of the cords interlocking with the rings of the male. The latches are pushed again, securing the second latch, and the halves may be counter-rotated to further prevent accidental opening.
